Nick has been suffering his whole life with the chronic illness, colitis. Having rough and more painful seasons than others, this has by far been his toughest one. This year, Nick has been hospitalized twice now. Making this time severely more drastic, almost dying, Nick had to have his colon completely removed. Undergoing an immense amount of physical and mental trauma, Nick is now in a slow recovery and has been weeks without being able to work. Having lost his job, almost losing his apartment, and having to pawn off the only small amount of valuables he has, it still is not enough to make ends meet.
