I’m creating this GoFundMe for my boyfriend, Nick, a hardworking mechanic who experienced an unexpected and devastating loss in November at his new job.

A fire caused Nick to lose his entire toolbox and all of his mechanic tools — equipment worth over $20,000 that he relies on every day to earn a living. Unfortunately, he was later informed that no insurance coverage would be provided, leaving him responsible for replacing everything on his own.

As a result of the fire and the loss of his tools, Nick was let go from his job, which has made recovering from this situation even more difficult. Since then, he has faced ongoing financial hardship while still needing to cover everyday bills and living expenses. For a mechanic, tools aren’t optional — they are his livelihood.
