Help Nick March with Phantom Regiment 2026

Nick’s journey to Phantom Regiment didn’t begin with a traditional drum corps background — or even the “right” instrument. As a trombone player, Nick faced a unique challenge, since his instrument isn’t routinely used in Drum Corps International. When he discovered the world of drum corps, he realized pursuing this dream would mean starting over from scratch. Undeterred, Nick taught himself the baritone, practiced daily, studied performance videos late into the night, and pushed through a steep learning curve without knowing if his efforts would pay off.

Just three months later, Nick auditioned for the Spartans Drum & Bugle Corps and earned a spot on his very first attempt. A defining moment came at the DCI World Championships in Indianapolis. Standing on the field after the Spartans’ championship performance, Nick looked around the stadium and realized how far he had come — from a small Eastern Shore school to one of the biggest stages in marching music. For Nick, that moment wasn’t an ending. It was motivation to keep pushing forward.

In 2026, Nick is once again choosing to challenge himself by pursuing a position with Phantom Regiment, one of the most respected World Class organizations in Drum Corps International. He is proud and excited to share that he has been accepted into the 2026 Phantom Regiment lineup — an achievement that reflects years of hard work, perseverance, and dedication to his craft. Nick is deeply grateful for the support, encouragement, and opportunities that have helped him reach this point in his young musical journey, and he truly appreciates everyone who chooses to support him along the way. Contributions to this fundraiser help make his 2026 season with Phantom Regiment possible and allow him to continue pursuing excellence at the highest level of marching music.
