Help Nick and family recover from flooding
Donation protected
Nick Lancuba is Trintech’s Financial Services Consultant in APAC and is based in Townsville, Queensland. Townsville recently experienced once in a hundred years flooding, doing incredible damage to residents and businesses.
Nick’s home was among those affected. This caused substantial damage to their home, as well as the loss of many of their personal belongings.
From Nick:
“When we moved her 3 years ago the Water Dam level was at 14%, on tight water restrictions, even got to 8%. Last Sunday night the Dam reached 288%! We got a years worth of rain in 7 days. The water in my house reached the bottom 3 stairs of our stair case so I called the Police to get emergency evacuated at 10pm Sunday night. I had 3 families with me as we had an upstairs. The Army evacuated us at 3am.”

“Our home is deemed not liveable and is being stripped for the ground level. We have Building insurance but not Contents insurance. We have been living in 4 houses in 7 days and hopefully at this Rental place today we can stay 10 days until we find something else. Our house will not be ready for another 6 months.”
Nick was able to get his house cleaned up, as well as helping 5 other families clean up their homes. He was also interviewed by the Prime Minister of Australia regarding the devastation in Townsville, as seen in the photo at the top of the page.
How can you help?
Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Trintech will also be setting up a points pool through YEI, and collecting all donations to send to Nick.
Let's all pull together to help Nick through this emergency.
