Help Nick Heal: Fund a New Service Dog

Hello, My name is Heather Goodale. I'm Nick's mom.

With Nick in this picture is Odin, he is a registered service dog. We tragically lost Odin on July 3, 2024 when Odin wanted to show-off his zoomies to Nick, but was too close to the road. He ran into the road just as a pick-up truck was flying by. There was no chance for survival for sweet Odin.

Nick is a United States Marine Corps combat Veteran and has service connected disabilities including a traumatic brain injury (TBI), PTSD, and injury to the vertebrae in his spine. Odin was a lift-assist and PTSD support Doberman. Odin was a valued member of our family and will be greatly missed.

Because trained dogs are so important to our veterans, and necessary for Nick's quality of life, we need to start training Nick's next dog right away. This little guy shown below has the correct demeanor to be Nick's next Service dog. It is a very expensive undertaking and starts around $15,000.
