My name is Nick, and I’m reaching out because I’m going through one of the hardest times of my life. I went to Arizona with the intent to live closer to my dad and nephews, but ended up returning to Washington with nowhere else to go. I miss my cat Clara every day, and I was hoping to move back into my travel trailer, but things haven’t gone as planned.
Before my trip, I was in a car accident that set me back. I was making progress, but not as much as I’d hoped. Then I found out Arizona took away my license because I didn’t have insurance. Now, I’m waiting for temp agencies to help me find work, but in the meantime, I’ve run out of money and am living in my car. I’m a month and a half behind on my car payment, my insurance is gone, and the weather is cold and rainy. I feel scared and alone, especially without my cat Clara by my side.
I’m starting this fundraiser to help cover my basic needs—showering, food, and gas—so I can stay safe and warm while I work to get back on my feet. I don’t have family willing to help, and I’m doing my best to hold on until I can start earning a paycheck again. Any support, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and help me move forward. Thank you for reading my story and for any kindness you can share.
