Dear Diecast Family, Ed and Jennifer Pfeil here. In the last two years, we have lost some great friends that have turned into family. Through those times, we have come together in magnificent fashion to assist others. This time, we go bigger than ever. Please take a moment to read the heartfelt writing from Tracy, Nick’s better half!

Welcome family and friends! Our beloved dad, husband, and friend has been having major heart issues since November 18th, 2022, and is in need of a new heart. He has had a series of heart attacks, has had multiple hospital vacations as he calls it, and he is currently in the hospital as of December 16th with a heart attack and a collapsed valve. He had 2 stents put in and is doing better. As we await a heart transplant, we are struggling financially to come up with our portion of the bill for the transplant as our insurance won't cover the operation fully. So, as hard as it is financially to keep up with medical bills and some other bills, our family won't be having Christmas this year as we have put everything we have into medical bills and to keep a roof over our head. We are reaching out for some support from family and friends and the diecast community that he loves and does so much for with the autism awareness shows with our 8-year-old sailor. We don't expect anything from anyone, but I'm at a loss of what to do anymore as we wait each day for the transplant. Please keep him in your prayers.
