Nick, JJ, Mikah, and Sammy are preparing for a special missions trip to Mexico. Nick has built many houses before, and this will be his third time traveling to Mexico to help build homes for families in need. JJ has joined him on a previous trip, while Mikah and Sammy are excited to experience their first journey. This year, the team will be building both a church and a house for Pastor Tony, who has been our contact in Mexico and a true inspiration to us all. Pastor Tony dedicates his life to helping others, even though he doesn’t have much himself, and this is our chance to give back to him and his community.

The funds we raise will go directly toward travel expenses, simple room and board, and the building materials needed to make these projects possible. Our boys are eager not only to help with construction but also to connect with the local kids—playing soccer and building friendships that cross borders. This trip is especially meaningful because it’s a larger team effort, and we’ll be able to make an even bigger impact together.

When Nick first went to Mexico, he was nervous. Having spent his teenage years on a military base near the border, it was hard for him to return. But that first trip was life-changing, inspiring him to keep going back and to bring our kids along. It’s become one of the greatest things he’s done with and for our sons, showing them what it means to give back and to love deeply, no matter where someone comes from.
