Hi, I’m Nichole, and I’m fundraising $1,200 to enroll in DONA International’s doula certification program and take the next step toward a lifelong dream.

During the birth of my most recent baby, I had the incredible experience of working with a doula—and it changed everything for me. The emotional support, empowerment, and care I received lit a fire in my soul. I knew, without a doubt, that I wanted to offer that same presence to others.

I currently work in OB/GYN as a medical assistant and have been passionate about reproductive and maternal health for over 10 years. Now, I’m ready to expand my role and become a certified birth doula. Once certified, I plan to become accredited through DHS so I can serve Medicaid families and support births in my community—especially for those who may not otherwise have access to doula care.
