This Thanksgiving was supposed to be a day of gratitude, family, and peace, but instead, it became a day that changed my sister and my nephew’s life forever.
November 27, 2025 at 11:10 am in Woodlawn MD, a violent act of domestic abuse left my strong, loving sister fighting for her life. My sister , Nichole was shot multiple times during the incident and is now in recovery, facing physical, emotional, and financial challenges no one should ever have to endure. No child should have to witness their father shoot their mother and take life saving measures while calling 911 to save his mothers life.
Nicki is currently suffering from a GSW entry and exit of the right hand / wrist resulting in broken center finger and nerve disruption. GSW entry to the right side of her upper chest , breaking the right side of her center ribs, leaving the bullet encased permanently. Despite the trauma, she is determined to heal, rebuild, and create a safe, stable future for herself and her young son. This is not going to be easy.
Nichole is a part business owner and aesthetician of Bombshell located in Catonsville. As she recovers, she is unable to work and faces extensive medical appointments, therapy, and time needed to physically heal. On top of this, she is also trying to ensure her son experiences comfort, stability, and the warmth of the holidays during a time that has become difficult and frightening for our family.
We are asking for your support to help lighten her load during this unimaginable time.
Your donations will go toward:
• Medical expenses and ongoing treatment
• Temporary living and safety needs
• Everyday essentials while she cannot work
• Holiday support for her son, so he can still experience joy despite the trauma they are both navigating
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. If you cannot donate, sharing this campaign helps more than you know.
This brave woman survived something no one should ever endure. With community support, she can focus on recovering, protecting her child, and rebuilding her life in safety and strength.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and prayers during this difficult season.
