I normally don’t like asking anyone for help. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own and be there for my family, but right now I’m in a position where I have to put my pride to the side and ask for some support. I recently underwent major back surgery, and recovery has been harder than I expected. Right now, even simple everyday things are difficult. I’m having to use a walker, depend on others for help, and give my body the time it needs to heal properly. Through all of this, my biggest concern is keeping a roof over my family’s head and our household stable while I recover. Unfortunately, the bills don’t stop just because life does. Rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, appointments, and normal everyday expenses are still coming while I’m temporarily limited in what I can do. I’m not looking for anything extra or trying to get ahead. I’m simply trying to keep my rent and bills paid, take care of my family, and make it through this recovery without falling behind. That’s why I created this GoFundMe. Every donation will go toward keeping our household together and covering our essential expenses until I’m able to get back on my feet.
