Help Nicholas Regain His Hearing

Hi my name is Jason Arturi and this gofundme is to help a very good friend and employee Nicholas Johnson fix his hearing. Nicholas aka "Nick" has been in my daily life since 2013. Nick came in for a job and hasn't left since. Nick is the type of person who helps out his friends and family no matter the time of day or weather outside placing everyone else's needs before his own if asked to do so. As long as I have known Nick he has suffered from hearing loss which only got worse after being involved in not one but TWO accidents in which he was hit by drunk drivers! Over the years Nick has had hearing aids but in the last few years it has come to the point where they don't work due to age and use. During the past several months I have watched him suffer more and more and now its come down to him just reading lips or just not knowing what's going on. As the days passed the more and more I wanted to help out and so I asked him what he needed to fix this issue. Everyday the small things that we all take for granted like hearing our loved ones call out to us or just hearing the birds chirping made me realize, what lonely and isolated feelings it must create to not have such readily available. When Nick told me he only needed $6000 for a new hearing aid I immediately knew that I could get that done for him. Everyone that knows Nick would be happy to help him out. This is the guy that fixes their cars, helps them move items because he always has owned a pickup truck. This is the guy who has been raising kids all alone of whom he is not the biological father to. Please find it in your heart to help Nick reach this goal so he can go and get a new hearing aid so he can enjoy his time with friends and family not only just to hear them but to be safèr as well by being able to hear when entering into dangerous situation.
