Hello! I'm Nicholas Blankenship, and for the past three years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of teaching middle school social studies. This journey has been more than just a job for me—it’s been a calling.

I remember being a middle schooler myself, and those were some of the most challenging years of my life. Academically, I struggled to keep up. I often found myself lost in subjects that didn’t come easily to me, feeling frustrated and disheartened. I wished I had more resources, more encouragement, and more personalized support from my teachers to help me navigate those difficult times. Unfortunately, those extra materials and that added support weren’t always available, leaving me to battle my way through with limited tools.

Today, as a teacher, I’m determined to provide my students with what I wish I had—the resources and support that can make all the difference in their academic journey. I want to be the teacher who not only understands their struggles but also equips them with the tools they need to overcome them.

But I can’t do it alone.

Our students are the future, and they deserve every opportunity to succeed. However, the reality is that there are gaps—gaps in resources, gaps in funding, and gaps in what I can provide on my own. Despite my best efforts, there’s only so much I can do without additional support. That’s where you come in.

I’m launching this fundraiser to help bridge those gaps and provide my students with the tools they need to thrive. Your contributions will go directly towards:

Cleaning Supplies: I want to ensure our classroom remains a safe, healthy space for learning.

Positive Reinforcement Tools: About 30% of the donations will be used for this throughout the year because I wish to encourage and reward students who go above and beyond, fostering a culture of excellence.

Classroom Decorations: Creating a vibrant and welcoming environment will inspire curiosity and creativity.

Supplies & Study Materials: I want to provide the essential resources every student needs to succeed academically.
