Hello everyone I'm sure by now a ton of you know me but if not allow me to introduce myself. My name is Nicholas Goewey I run build and obtain a place by the name of State Street Trails. I have been working on these trails for 19 years without any issues as well these trails have been around almost 30 years now. A few years ago we had a troubling neighbor move in. That neighbor had caused us a lot of hassle. Back in 2020 we ended up having to gain signatures from the neighborhood supporting the trails found the land owner of the property got permission to be on the land from the owner to be there then had to go to City hall. At that time we got permission from the mayor, alderwoman of the neighborhood, as well building and zoning of the town. Everything was passed whooo!!! Then a few years pass a new mayor comes in. Troubling neighbor causes a big commotion again and managed to have a no trespassing sign and guard rail placed in front of the trails blocking the easement going to the property. After talking with the city at that time they got it down very fast because it was illegal we then had to go to another city hall meeting over the trails. Got approved again and our awesome mayor. Mayor goins even came out to join us for one of our events! that was 3 years ago. After that event things slowed down a bit so we could do some major changes to the trails as well I became a dad! The day my baby was born I received a phone call that the lot we are on was being signed over to us ! We was over joyed with the news all of our hard work blood sweat and tears are finally sealed! So we thought. Recently we have received information that from the police department that our troubling neighbor is at it again as well is starting to get a couple others to complain as well and we have been told if it goes to far building and zoning can tare us down due to how it is zoned ! We have spoken with an attorney and we need your help I don't do this often but the trails are truly needing as much help as we can get so we can finally squash this problem for good and continue bringing joy love and BMX to this community. So far right now we need to raise $1000 this is just the retainer fee to get this started and fixed. We have never caused any problems and continue to try and do a great thing for this town each and everyday. We have had so many amazing people over the years visit and help these trails and we couldn't do it without everyones support all these years we love you all and thank you so much for your help. love the State Street crew.
