It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Nicci King, who tragically left us on September 12, 2025. She was a beloved mother, sibling, daughter in law and friend to everyone and her loss has left an immeasurable void in everyone’s lives that she touched.
Nicci King was known for her genuine kindness, her sense of humor and her dedication to family and her friends. She touched the lives of everyone around her and her memory will forever be cherished.
I am raising funds to help support my two daughters during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden as we focus on healing and remembering Nicci.
We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please share this page and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.

The night of the 12th
Visiting her on her last ten minutes of work she was bubbly and positive. She was getting medicine at her job for her oldest ( baby girl). She laughed and joked with me about me picking up bread. 10 minutes later she called me ( Scott king ) and was in a panic and scared because she was trapped inside her car on ocotillo. She said she was scared because water was flooding into the car. I (Scott King) immediately started speeding to the scene. I came across a line of cars waiting at the 1st wash before the 2nd wash she was trapped in. Punching the gas, I plowed into the rapids of water totaling someone else’s car trying to get to her. With Gods protection I barely made it out the vehicle and to the side of the wash. The brave men came to help, we all grabbed each other’s shits and tried to cross the wash. (RICK) was swept away in a heart beat almost drowning. The two brave officers made it across because of him.
My Father (SCOTT KING SR) brother (ADAM KING) and family friend (MIKE RUNION) arrived at the wash she was at. Unable to get to her I was on the phone with my dad (SCOTT KING SR) while my brother (ADAM KING) ties a strap to him and a tree and jumps in the water, climbs on the vehicle, breaks out the back window to try and locate her.
Unable to find her they started searching up and down the wash. I crossed the wash running up to the scene a mile away in the pitch black. I was pleading with God to not take her. Slipping in mud covered head to toe I arrived to find her in the roots of a tree.
Breaking the news to our two daughter’s, telling them their mother had passed is something our family could and never will forget .

We were all so lucky to have spent the time we did with her.
