Nic’s dearest friend Kezzia sadly got sick with a debilitating neurological disorder while pregnant with her 3rd child.

Kez then asked Nicola to take on the valuable role as in home child educator caring for her 3 vulnerable children. Indie her youngest was just was just a baby, Tiger then 3, also has a lung disorder so he needs extra care.  Nic took this in her stride as she loved Kez and adored the children. She managed Kez’s care and affairs and the children’s daily needs. It was initially temporarily In the hopes that Kez would recover. Kez unfortunately continued to decline

With every resource and care available, Kez became completely incapacitated. Unable to walk, talk, eat and limited movement . It was not only challenging for Nic helping raise Kezzia’s babies but also heartbreaking for her to watch her dear friend suffer with this illness. 

Nic has became an integral part of the children’s lives over the last 6 years and she is now their family. 

She has remained a strength and comfort to the kids even though Nic also had her own struggles, she  supports herself, ended up in a rental crisis and has had to move home 5 times. 

Nic even helped set up a Go Fund Me for Kezzia raising $10,000

After a long hard battle, we are devastated the children have recently lost their Mother. Unfortunately funding has now ceased for Kez. Nic is grieving the loss of her beautiful friend and is continuing to care for the children but needs support with her living costs and to be there as the tower of strength she always has been. 

This is until we figure what is next. Whether funding is available down another avenue or she has to seek alternative employment,  she really just needs all the support she can get right now. 

Kezzia, her family and more importantly her children, need Nic’s care, love and support more than ever so please any little bit will help Nic and the kids get through this difficult time ❤️
