Nick Salay and his girlfriend Anastasia have been my close friends, Nick since 2008, when we first met at OUBOCES. We both graduated at the top of our class, and over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how caring and generous Nick is to everyone around him. He’s the kind of person who always puts others first and lives by the mantra of doing a good turn daily.

Recently, Nick and Anastasia faced a devastating tragedy when their apartment building, the Parr Valley Condominiums, caught on fire. In a matter of moments, virtually all of their belongings were destroyed. They managed to escape the calamity with only the clothes on their backs and whatever they could quickly grab. The loss has been overwhelming, and they are now faced with the challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping Nick and Anastasia get back on their feet. The funds raised will go toward a down payment on a new apartment, replacing their clothing, and purchasing the household essentials they’ve lost.
