Help Niall Skehan - Stroke Recovery

*update: Niall is home now and at the very beginning stages of recovery. Thank you immensely for all of you kind and generous souls for helping Niall get back on his feet. I pray he recovers soon and gains full memory and function back!

As some of you might know, Niall had a stroke earlier this week and is in the ICU at Cedar Sinai.

I’ve known Niall since I was in 7th grade. I was out of shape, depressed and at a new school. I reluctantly tried out for the swim team and at the time had no self confidence or motivation. Niall saw something in me and encouraged me to swim and later play water polo.

He helped get me into UCSB (I had horrible grades and thought I’d end up nowhere). I played on their water polo team and to this day he still trains me and motivates me to always keep going in the pool and in life.

Now, it’s our turn to encourage Niall to keep fighting no matter what. Let’s help this amazing coach and man get back on his feet!
