Hi everyone! My name is Reece Dunne, and I am a Grade 12 student at A.N. Myer Secondary School. I am incredibly excited to have earned a spot in Miss Teenage Canada 2025, and I need your help to get there!
About Me & My Journey
I am an athlete, student leader, and advocate who is passionate about making a difference. I am on my school’s cheer and dance teams and compete in track and field. I also serve on the student council, where I work to improve the school community and lead initiatives that support students.
Beyond school, I am deeply committed to my platform, Recovering with Reece, where I advocate for eating disorder awareness and education. As someone who has personally battled bulimia nervosa, I know how important it is to break the stigma and provide better support for those struggling. I work with sports organizations, educators, and the Eating Disorders Federation of Canada (EDFC) to push for real change. Pageants have given me the opportunity to use my voice to reach more people, and competing in Miss Teenage Canada will allow me to continue this mission on an even larger scale.
Why I Need Your Support
Pageants come with costs, including entry fees, travel, wardrobe, and preparation. As a full-time student and athlete, I am working hard to fundraise, but I can’t do it alone. Your donation—big or small—will directly help me cover these expenses and allow me to proudly represent my province on the national stage!
What Your Support Means
By donating, you’re not just helping me compete—you’re investing in a cause that saves lives. This journey is about more than just a crown; it’s about using my voice to empower others, promote body positivity, and fight for better mental health resources and education in Canada.
I would be so grateful for any support you can give, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page. Thank you for believing in me and my mission. Let’s make a difference together!
Much love,
Reece Dunne
