Help Niagara Downunder Recover After Devastating Fire
On Saturday, our friends at Niagara Downunder experienced a devastating fire that changed everything in a matter of moments.
By what can only be described as a miracle, no animals were physically injured. However, they are now being closely monitored for smoke inhalation and stress, while their dedicated caregivers work tirelessly to keep them safe and comfortable.
The fire destroyed all stored animal food, medications, cleaning supplies, and essential daily care items. In an instant, the resources needed to provide proper nutrition, medical care, and sanitation for the animals were gone.
Anyone who knows the owner, Laura, knows she is the first person to step up and help others. She has donated her time, her resources, and her heart to so many people in need — especially children facing cancer and serious illness.
She would never want to ask for help herself.
So I am asking for her.
Right now, Niagara Downunder faces the overwhelming challenge of replacing critical food supplies, specialized diets, medications, and recovery materials while also beginning the long process of rebuilding after this sudden disaster.
