Hi everyone (UPDATE BELOW):
I never imagined I’d be in a position like this, but my car was stolen yesterday, and I’m truly at a loss for words and next steps. Even after filing a police report and speaking with neighbors around my apartment complex, my car has not been located.
This situation has left me feeling violated, stuck, and overwhelmed. My car was not just transportation — it was essential to my daily life and responsibilities. I rely on it to get to work, buy groceries for my family, and most importantly, to take my mother to her medical appointments, which she desperately needs.
Right now, without a vehicle, even the most basic tasks have become incredibly difficult. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t navigate this situation alone.
I am raising funds to help me afford a reliable replacement vehicle so I can regain stability, continue working, care for my family, and make sure my mother can get to her medical treatments safely and on time.
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean more than I can express. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also help tremendously. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this and for any support you’re able to offer during this difficult time.
UPDATE AS OF FEBRUARY:
After weeks of stress and uncertainty, I’m incredibly grateful that my car was finally found after being stolen. Getting it back brought relief, but it also came with a heavy emotional toll. The vehicle was returned with significant damage—a shattered windshield, missing rearview mirror, worn tires, damaged seats, and a broken license plate—making it unsafe and unreliable to drive as-is. While I’m thankful to have my car back, there’s still a lot of work needed to fully restore it and get my life back to normal. This situation has been overwhelming, emotionally and financially, and any support toward repairs would mean more than I can express as I work to rebuild from this experience.
