My name is Sinia Maile. I'm 16 years old and next year I'll be graduating with my diploma and my associates degree. This summer I've been invited to Stanford University to study US Government and learn more about politics and leadership. I've also been invited to the National Youth Leadership Forum in Washington D.C. where I'll be working with the National Security. I've been chosen to attend these events based on my academic performance, but due to my family's circumstances we won't be able to afford both programs.
My mother is a single mom who goes to school full time and works two jobs to feed 5 kids, including me. I want to attend these programs to better my life and the life of my family. I've given up playing volleyball, basketball, and rugby to be able to gain a higher education and I have the opportunity right now that I don't want to miss! Any and all donations are appreciated, there is no donation to small!
