Hello friends and family. My name is Tien Nguyen and I’m starting this gofundme for my good friend Ngoc Che. Those of you who know him know about his story. Due to a tragic accident in 2010, he was left permanently wheelchair bound.. a paraplegic. He has faced many trials and tribulations that would tear most people apart but with the help of his dog Mary, he has found happiness and love again. Ngoc has raised Mary since she was a puppy at 4 weeks. She is now 8 years old. She is not only his service dog but also a daughter to him. Their bond is inspirational. She motivates him to get up and exercise every morning and to go outside to see the world again. But now the courts took her away from him and deemed her a “vicious and dangerous” dog due to her trying to protect him from a threat. Everyone who knows her knows how sweet of a dog she is… always playful and excited to be pet or hugged. She was just trying to protect the person she knows loves her the most. The courts are saying in order for Ngoc to have a chance of getting her back, he would need to pay for liability insurance, fearful aggression training, court fees and well as buying things to “control” her such as a muzzle, crash and locked proof crate, etc. Please help us in helping Ngoc and Mary reunite.
