Hey, we're Matt and Adam and we're fundraising to get our wonderful cat Newt an emergency surgery to save her life.

My brother and I got her at 8 weeks old after our father passed away and she has been our best friend for the past seven and a half years. We had an emergency vet visit this afternoon (August 8th) and after sedation, bloodwork and an ultrasound, she was diagnosed with Pyometra, a severe infection in her uterus that will require immediate surgery. The vet she saw today estimated approximately $4000 for the surgery, anesthesia and monitoring, in which we are not able to afford.

Matt and I are currently looking into places with with some kind of payment plan or other financial aid to help offset the cost of the procedure for now, but we are asking for your help in the long run. Please consider helping Newt, she has been a sweet girl her whole life and doesn't deserve what she is going through.
