My name is Mohammed Maher Darabaih, and I am the Executive Director of Bunat Al-Watan Educational Initiative, operated by our local educational team in Gaza.

We are an independent civilian educational initiative dedicated to protecting children’s right to education during extremely difficult circumstances. We are not affiliated with any political or military group. Our mission is purely educational and humanitarian.

Today, we serve 500 students from primary, middle, and secondary levels. These students continue to show up every day with hope, determination, and a strong desire to learn — despite the challenges around them.

Our school operates from a rented building, and we rely entirely on community support and donations to continue functioning.

How the funds will be used:

All donations raised through this campaign will be used exclusively for educational purposes, including:

Paying the monthly rent of the school building

Covering teachers’ salaries

Furnishing classrooms

Purchasing essential educational supplies

Supporting our psychosocial support program for students

Funds will be directly managed by our local educational administration team to ensure transparency and proper use for the continuation of the school.

Education is not a luxury. For these children, it is stability, safety, and hope for the future.
