Hi my name is Sarah and I’m fundraising on behalf of my family (Kellie, Marty, Megan and Alex).

On December 29, 2023, my family suffered from a house fire. My parents, little brother, and little sister lived in the house along with their pets — four dogs and two cats who survived the fire, and my brother’s two pet birds who unfortunately did not. Luckily, my mom and little brother who were in the home at the time of the fire were able to escape and are now safe, but it was a traumatic experience for everyone involved.

We are asking for support as they lost many belongings in the fire. It has been difficult to replace the simple things they need for their day to day lives (coats, boots, clothing etc).

With the cold weather and having to commute back to their former home in the country daily to feed their horses, they really need to have warm winter protection. Sometimes they have to be out there for hours while they feed and water their animals. I’m making this in hopes to help replace their winter belongings and help keep them warm and safe as they maneuver through this.

Navigating the financial, and emotional burden that this tragedy has placed on my family has been extremely difficult. Any support is greatly appreciated.
