New parents awaiting their newborn’s surgery

As some of you may know, my brother Justin and his wife Sara just gave birth to their beautiful baby boy Rowan. Unfortunately, he had to be airlifted from the hospital in Bellingham to Seattle Children’s Hospital shortly after birth, because he was unable to adequately maintain his oxygen levels. After days of diagnostic tests, hotel stays, and some sleepless nights, they were informed that he has a diaphragmatic hernia, which is what is affecting his breathing. Due to the nature of the surgery, he has to grow a little bigger and get a little stronger before he can have the operation, which will be happening within the next 2-3 months (give or take). While maternity/paternity leave does ensure they will get paid for a short amount of time, their waiting period for the surgery, as well as recovery afterwards, may extend past that paid leave. So, this go fund me is to help with things like the cost for hotels, groceries, bills, gas money to drive to and from Seattle- all the things they need in order to stay afloat during this tough time. My hope is to help ease the financial constraints this will cause so that they can focus on getting their sweet son as healthy and happy as possible.
