Help New Hampshire's 52 With A View: A Hiker's Guide!

Hello, friends and supporters of New Hampshire's 52 With A View: A Hiker's Guide!

Thanks in great part to your love, this first-ever and comprehensive guidebook for one of the most popular hiking lists in New Hampshire has been very successful. My main goal when writing it was to create a resource that would be useful for both beginner hikers and experienced trampers alike. Based on the overwhelming response, it appears that goal was met. It wouldn't have happened without you, dear readers, and I am eternally appreciate and grateful.

I would like to ask for your help once again. For those that don't know, self-publishing a book is very expensive! I have a terrific distribution arrangement with Mike Dickerman at Bondcliff Books, but the printing costs have been coming out of my own pocket since the first edition was published in 2019.

These costs were more manageable in the before times, when we were all living in a world where an international pandemic didn't seem possible. Unfortunately, that same pandemic created paper shortages and as a result printing costs have continued to increase. And as we all know, once the price of something goes up, it rarely comes back down. :(

So, friends, I would like to reach out to you again for support. In short, more funding is needed to keep New Hampshire's 52 With A View: A Hiker's Guide in print (don't worry, it's not going away, and I'm hard at work on the next edition).

The goal of this fundraiser is to create a fund that will go strictly toward printing the book so that hikers can continue to enjoy it for years to come. Every dollar raised here will go straight back into printing costs and hopefully create a pool of funding for future printings.

If you currently have the book and have enjoyed it and found it to be a valuable resource, please consider contributing if you can. If you are new to the book or are a new hiker and want to start your journey on the 52 With A View, please consider contributing if you can. If you support small business and independent authors so we can keep making stuff, please consider contributing if you can.

I realize that everything is more expensive these days and not everyone can pitch in. I totally get that and there is no obligation here! Any contribution, no matter how large or small, would help to reach the next goal of keeping the book in print and readily available.

Thank you!
