Help New Basketball Team with Extra Expenses

To all lovers of basketball,

The journey starts with the first step

Our Brand New Basketball Team, the Bridgeport Kings, consists of two coaches and 15 dedicated, determined players. We are an Inner City team with limited access to funds required to play and travel. For most players, basketball is a way to escape their real world; it's a way to keep these talented players from making bad decisions leading to troubled paths. Our team is seeking to raise a total of $8,000 for the 2022-2023 basketball season to help cover travel expenses, hotels, food, practice, venue rentals and all other fees needed to ensure the team's success. Our coaches are all volunteers and do not receive any remuneration.

The Bridgeport Kings will represent the City of Bridgeport in the American Basketball Association league. It is a semi-professional team founded upon building a team with great skill. Each player is a King and will remain coachable, passionate, driven, and resilient. Our financial success helps us win games and maintain the team's needs.

This newly formed team works extremely hard to overcome challenges and reach our goals. We are so excited this team of athletes will have this amazing opportunity to travel and compete with other ABA teams. The massive impact the team will have on our community and surrounding communities is why this basketball journey is so essential and this team is so necessary.

We will put each basketball player on a stage in different cities across the NorthEast. The team will be traveling to Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and many other states throughout the NorthEast. We will also be looking to travel to states further like Florida, Las Vegas and beyond. Your generosity will help make many dreams come true and alleviate some of the financial stress on the team.

Your contributions would cover the cost of travel, hotels, food, merchandise, advertising and all things associated with the growth and success of the team. Any amount would be greatly appreciated, as even a few dollars will bring us closer to our travel destinations and basic needs of the team. We would be extremely grateful for all contributions, big or small.
