My name is Nik, and I live in Chicago, IL. I am raising money for my friend Neveen El Hassanat, a young single mother of three children in the besieged Gaza Strip. We have been in touch since early 2024. She needs assistance to buy food, medicine, and shelter for her and her kids.

Update February 22, 2026: Neveen's son Adam is very sick and needs an operation and medicine. He is suffering from severe ear infections, fluid behind the eardrum, and malnutrition. The food prices in Gaza have risen significantly, so Neveen and her kids also need money to buy food.

Update: As of November, 2025, Neveen has informed me that she and all three of her children have contracted hepatitis. She has lost a lot of weight. She is specifically asking for funds to buy vegetables, fruit, sugar, and medicine.

in the Gaza Strip, there is a withdrawal rate for each transaction and transfer that is required a commission ranged 20-30%.
