14 year old Nevaeh hit head on by motor vehicle
Hi Everyone:
As some of you know my 14 year old niece was hit by a car head on while riding her bicycle in her neighborhood on Friday 8/27/2021. Around 4:30PM when her Dad (Rob) and mom (Kelly) arrived on the horrific scene, her mom froze in shock while Rob did the only thing he could do which was put his palm of his hand on Nevaehs forehead saying everything will be ok. She was rushed to the ER in South Shore Hospital via ambulance and then transferred to Childrens Hospital in Boston. She sustained multiple injuries and bruising including a broken leg, lost front tooth and cracked teeth. Although released from the hospital on Monday, Nevaeh was complaining of back pain on Wednesday. When going to her local doctor who found some concerns from blood work she was sent back to Childrens ER. Upon additional checks it was found she has a fractured spin that is causing issues with her bladder where she voids and does not even know it. She is a “one assist” where getting in and out of wheel chair and showing/ bathroom all requires assistance. As you can imagine this will be a long road to recovery. People have been asking ways they can help so I (Shauna Sweeney Nevaeh’s aunt) thought it would be a good idea to setup a gofundme page to help with medical bills, traveling to Boston, and food.
