Hi, my name is Dominique and I’m a mother fighting alongside my daughter Nevaeh during the hardest time of our lives. Nevaeh is currently in need of a second transplant, something no child or parent should ever have to face. She has already been through so much in her young life, showing a level of strength and resilience that inspires me every single day. But right now, she is in a critical place where she needs specialized care to survive and move forward. Because of her condition, we are being forced to relocate closer to her medical team at Duke so she can receive the life-saving treatment she needs. This is not just a move—it’s a necessity for her survival.
As a parent, my only focus is making sure my daughter has every possible chance to live, heal, and have the future she deserves. But the reality is, the financial burden that comes with this journey is overwhelming. Between medical costs, relocating, securing stable housing near her doctors, transportation, and time away from work to care for her, it has become more than I can manage alone. It’s incredibly hard for me to ask for help, but I’m asking because my daughter’s life depends on it. Nevaeh is more than her diagnosis—she is strong, loving, and full of light. She deserves the chance to keep fighting, to keep smiling, and to keep being the amazing person she is.
If you are able to donate, no amount is too small and will go directly toward her care and helping us stay close to the medical support she urgently needs. If you’re unable to give, sharing our story means just as much. Please keep my daughter in your thoughts and prayers as we continue this fight. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can give. With love and gratitude, Dominique
