Hi my name is Macy, I am a mother of 3, I am making this gofundme on behalf of my youngest daughter Neveah. Neveah was born with a hemangioma of the lip. Which is a vascular tumor, this causes her a lot of discomfort and difficulty when trying to eat. We have tried multiple medications, injections and minor surgery’s, to no avail. At this time our only option is to proceed with major surgery. This would remove the hemangioma but is extremely risky because of the location of it. It sits between the superior labial vein in her upper lip. This means she would need a reconstruction of her lip along with the removal of the hemangioma. This surgery is extremely expensive, however insurance will cover some of the cost but it does not cover all of it. So I am asking for any help I can get to help my daughter thrive. This condition is not only only effecting her eating but also causing a delay in her motor skills and basic development skills which as a result she is in physical and occupational therapy.
