Hi, my name is Nestor Castro. I recently became sick and didn’t think anything of it. I had normal cold/ flu symptoms. As the days went on I felt as if I was getting better, but last week in January 1st I took a turn for the worse. I had to be rushed to the ER and hospitalized, I spent the next couple days having blood drawn and test done on me. Installations the doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me, my liver was inflamed, fever of 115°, sweats and violent vomiting. After test results all my blood work came back fine and the doctors let me know that I had contracted RSV and EBV at the same time. With my preexisting asthma it made things even worse. Sunday the doctors let me go home and told me to rest and if my temp goes over 103° to come back to the ER immediately. Last night all symptoms returned and temperature went to 105° so I’m back in the hospital with no end in sight. I hate to ask but this is going to be a huge financial burden on me and my family and I would really appreciate and help anyone can offer. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, God bless.
