For almost twenty years, Los Angeles was Nestor's home. Even though Nestor's heart has always stayed proudly Mexican, this country gave him the opportunity to grow, work hard, build a life, meet amazing friends, and achieve some dreams. Nestor will always be grateful for that.
As many of you already know, Nestor's life changed suddenly on January 26th when he was detained by ICE agents and deported to Mexico almost immediately. In a matter of hours, Nestor had to leave behind parents, sisters, friends, and everything built over so many years. His absence has been painful for the family emotionally, and it has also brought unexpected financial expenses that none of them were prepared for.
Starting over in a new place has been difficult, and right now Nestor needs a little help to get back on his feet. Durante casi veinte años, Los Ángeles fue el hogar de Néstor. Aunque su corazón siempre se ha mantenido orgullosamente mexicano, este país le dio la oportunidad de crecer, trabajar duro, construir una vida, conocer amigos increíbles y cumplir algunos de sus sueños. Néstor siempre estará agradecido por eso.
Como muchos ya saben, la vida de Néstor cambió de repente el pasado 26 de enero, cuando fue detenido por agentes de ICE y deportado a México casi de inmediato. En cuestión de horas, Néstor tuvo que dejar atrás a sus padres, hermanas, amigos y todo lo que había construido durante tantos años. Su ausencia ha sido muy dolorosa para la familia en lo emocional, y también ha traído gastos inesperados para los que nadie estaba preparado.
Empezar de nuevo en un lugar diferente ha sido difícil, y en estos momentos Néstor necesita un poco de ayuda para poder salir adelante.
