Nestor Aguirre and I were missionaries together in Puerto Rico back in 2003-2005. He lives in El Salvador and over the last few years we’ve been in touch over Facebook. He was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, has been receiving chemotherapy, and is preparing to have one of his lungs removed in January. His family doesn’t have a lot and they are struggling to come up with the money for the operation. I’m raising money to help them with the cost of his treatment and with basic living expenses that they’ve had a hard time paying due to his treatment costs.
