A message from the Creator: Hey everyone I’m Mena. I am from the USA. As many of you have seen and heard, we are still witnessing the torment of Palestine and its people. I am raising funds to help Nesma and her family so they could continue to live safely in Gaza until evacuation. Read Nesma’s story down below:
Warmth for My Family Post Ceasefire and Cold in Gaza
My name is Nesma , and I am a member of a family of 12, including young children and elderly parents. We used to live a simple life, but the war turned everything upside down. We lost our home and our sense of safety, and now we live in a small tent that barely shelters us.
My Brother Muhammed
ISRAEL KILLED MY BROTHER, Muhammed who was 16. He died in my arms; he kept bleeding in my arms. I can't describe what happened. My soul is tired. I can't believe what happened.
My brother Mohammed died without guilt, without a weapon, without sin, except that he was an innocent child living in a home that wanted to remain safe. His eyes were extinguished, and mine remained fixed on the moment he departed, a moment that taught me that injustice is merciless, and that the loss of a young brother transforms into a lifetime of pain.
This is what I go through and many more Palestinian families. The war might have ended but we are still struggling with losses, hunger and safety.
Life Under the Tent
In our tent, which cannot keep out the rain or cold, we struggle to cope with harsh living conditions. The ground beneath us is always wet, and the freezing wind chills our bodies. We ran out of flour days ago, and my children go to sleep hungry. The elderly in my family cannot endure the biting cold, and our situation has become unbearable.
My Family’s Tent and Current Living Conditions
The Unbearable Cost of Survival
Even after the war and now the blockade, securing even the most basic necessities has become nearly impossible. The prices of food and essential items have skyrocketed:
* 1 kg of flour: $16-$18, barely enough for one day.
* A 25 kg bag of rice: $70-$80.
* 1 liter of cooking oil: $10-$12.
* A small chicken: $12-$15.
* A carton of eggs: $30-$73.
* A single blanket: $40-$70.
* A basic mattress: $50-$60.

With these prices, it has become impossible for us to provide even the minimum for my large family.
Why Did I Launch This Campaign?
I decided to launch this campaign because I want to see my family live with dignity again. I want to provide them with:
* Basic food supplies to restore my children’s strength and health.
* Warm winter clothing and blankets to protect them from the freezing cold.
* New mattresses and a weatherproof tent to shelter my family.
* Cooking and hygiene essentials to improve our living conditions.
* Funds to evacuate Gaza
Campaign Goal
I aim to raise enough funds to cover these basic needs for my family for at least three months and later help with my family’s safe evacuation. With such high prices, every dollar makes a real difference. Your donation can give us a chance to survive during this hardship.

Thank you.
How we would receive funds
Mena will be transferring funds to me here in Palestine. All funds would be able to reach in an effective way through bank transfers!
