The Nepalese Society of Okanagan Valley (NSOV) is coming together to support the people of Nepal affected by the devastating floods and resulting destruction.

Recent flooding in the China (Tibet)–Nepal border region has severely affected areas along the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers, causing widespread hardship for families and communities. Many people have lost their homes, belongings, livelihoods, and, tragically, their loved ones. During this difficult time, we want to stand together as a community and extend our support to those in need.

All funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will be deposited to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, Nepal, to support relief and emergency response efforts for those affected by the floods.

For transparency, NSOV will share the final amount raised and the deposit statement once the funds have been transferred. Individual deposit or donor-related statements will be shared upon request, while respecting the privacy concerns of our donors and depositors.
