Let's come together for Nepal. In our small effort against the COVID-19 surge happening in Nepal, we are using our platform to partner with small businesses to raise awareness/funds for our homeland. 100% of the proceeds will go to COVID Connect Nepal (CNN) and Feed The Hungry Nepal (FTHN).
Covid Connect Nepal (CCN)
CCN is a volunteer-run online platform initiated to connect assistance providers and seekers, and publish credible data and information about the Covid-19 status quo in Nepal. The pandemic has spared none; it has affected everyone alike. Add to that, misallocation of resources and ineffective handling of public crisis from the government, our country could be rendered helpless in the days ahead.
CCN is an attempt to secure health resources for those in need in these dire times, and try to reduce the burden that currently stands on authorities alone. CCN’s website allows people to request and inform availability of beds, oxygen, and ambulances, and if and when need arises, for food support too. One can go to www.covidconnectnp.org and request the aforementioned resources for themselves or for others in a matter of minutes. Once a form is submitted, the support team is notified and the request is verified through phone calls and consultation with the CCN medical team wherever necessary. When approved in the back end, the request is published on the website where visitors can see the request and even offer help. The social media team simultaneously develops a post and publishes it over Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Feed Hungry Nepal (FTHN)
Feed The Hungry Nepal (FTHN) is a Youth-Led, Social Business Organization with a vision of ending hunger in Nepal. FTHN has mobilized 400+ volunteers to support 42,000+ individuals through 6,200 HNL (Hunger No Longer) kits and 12,000 Thaali (cooked meal sets) in 11 districts of Nepal.
