We adopted our kitten, Neoki, from a local shelter, hoping to give her a loving home and a fresh start. When we brought her home, we quickly realized something was wrong. The shelter hadn’t told us about her injury, but after a visit to the vet, we learned that Neoki’s leg had been broken for so long that the muscle had contracted and the bone had twisted off. The wound has even calcified, and she’s been living in pain for far too long. The only option now is to amputate her leg, but the surgery is very expensive—an amount I simply cannot afford on my own.

Neoki’s life hasn’t been easy. She spent a long time in the shelter, often overlooked and left in a small cage without the care she desperately needed. She’s scared, timid, and has never known what it’s like to be truly loved or comfortable. Since coming into our lives, all I want is to see her happy, healthy, and pain-free. This surgery is her chance to finally heal and start a new chapter where she can move freely and enjoy the life every cat deserves.
