Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my beautiful bunny, Neo, who recently suffered a badly broken foot. After veterinary examination, we've been advised that amputation is the best option to relieve her pain and give her the best chance at a happy, healthy life. Without surgery, she will continue to suffer — and I want nothing more than to give her relief and comfort.

Neo has been with me for nearly six wonderful years, and she is so much more than a pet — she's family. She's bright, affectionate, and endlessly curious. She has a special bond with her brother, Bambi, and they’ve grown up together as inseparable best friends. They groom each other, sleep curled up side by side, and bring each other so much peace and comfort.

This unexpected injury has come at a very difficult time. I am currently caring full-time for my mother-in-law, who has terminal brain cancer and only a few weeks left with us. As her condition has worsened, I’ve had to switch to casual work so I can provide round-the-clock care, which has deeply affected my ability to cover Neo's urgent vet expenses.

It’s incredibly painful to ask for help, but I know I cannot do this on my own. Neo deserves the chance to live pain-free, to continue her bond with Bambi, and to recover surrounded by the family who loves her deeply.
