Help My Sweet Neni Get the Surgery She Needs ❤️

Hi everyone, and thank you for taking a moment to read this. My 13-year-old Shih Tzu, Neni, has been a blessing in disguise with her sweet spirit, expressive eyes and smile, and unconditional love. Recently, she was diagnosed with a UTI infection and possible gum disease with a few loose teeth needing to be extracted that's causing her pain and that requires urgent surgery. Without this surgery, her quality of life will continue to decline, and I’m doing everything I can to make sure she gets the care she deserves.

The medical costs are more than I can manage alone, which is why I’m reaching out for support. Any amount, big or small, would make a meaningful difference and bring us one step closer to getting her healthy and comfortable again. Even sharing this page helps more than you know.

INFO FROM VET:

1. Bladder Stone Diagnostics: Ideally we get an Xray to confirm stones, start Neni on a diet that will dissolve the stones, then ensure they are all gone with a repeat xray in a couple weeks. The diet I recommend is actually Hill's s/d and will be used to dissolve struvite stones (assuming this is what Neni is dealing with). Hill's c/d will give you an idea of costs and may be used long term to prevent stone formation.

2. Cystotomy: This is the cost of bladder stone removal at our clinic. I hope the diet will be effective so we do not need to put Neni through another surgery, but just so you have an idea of costs associated with the procedure.

3. Dental estimate with costs associated with possible extractions.
