My name is Nena Willis and I am a 22-year-old senior at Langston University—the only HBCU in Oklahoma—where I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. As an independent student losing both parents and having limited family support, I am striving to become a first-generation college graduate.
I have a strong passion for working with youth and creating nurturing, engaging environments that support early learning. Most recently, I served as a Team Lead at a children's literacy camp in Ponca City, Oklahoma, where I helped young students build positive relationships with reading and learning.
A donation toward my tuition would not only support me in completing my degree, but it would also be an investment in our community and in the next generation of learners. I am committed to giving back through education and using my journey to uplift, inspire, and educate future generations.
