Help Nena and Her Babies Stay Safe While She Fights for Her Life

This is one of the hardest things I’ve had to write.

My beautiful friend Nena is fighting a rare and aggressive form of cancer. On top of that, she also suffers from SVT (supraventricular tachycardia), a heart condition that causes sudden episodes of dangerously fast heart rates. Her body is under constant stress from cancer, from her heart condition, and from the emotional toll of everything happening at once.

Recently, she lost her job because of her illness. And now, while trying to survive cancer and manage her heart condition, she is also facing something no mother should ever have to face: losing her home.

She has two children who depend on her completely for safety, comfort, stability, and love. Right now, she is trying to stay strong for them while carrying the fear of homelessness on top of medical treatments, medications, and the daily physical exhaustion her body is going through.

We are trying to raise $2,000 to cover her rent, food for her babies, and her essential medications. This isn’t about anything extra. This is about survival. This is about keeping a roof over her children’s heads while their mom fights for her health.

Cancer is already cruel. Adding heart complications and the threat of homelessness makes this an unbearable weight for one person to carry alone.
