Nemo is a 1-year-old orange cat that's beloved by his family. On May 2nd, a hydrangea plant was placed outside the home without knowledge of its toxicity by a family member. Nemo enjoys hanging out on the front porch where the plant was placed. Every part of a hydrangea is toxic and poisonous to cats and dogs. Nemo was exposed and is currently suffering from diarrhea, stomach pain, and body tremors from inhaling and potentially consuming the plant.
The cost to do a checkin and blood work is $351.50 total (blood work $286.50 and checkup $65), not including any potential extra cost including IV to flush out the toxins, medication, or other things. Any help is greatly appreciated and if somehow extra money is made, then it will all go to the vet clinic Nemo gets treated at in order to help other patients whose owners don't have enough money to cover treatment costs.
