Update: Nemo’s MRI showed a large mass in his brain that the neurologists believed was a tumor. His quality of life was already being severely affected, so we ultimately made the difficult decision to put him down. Anything donated will still be going to the debt we have that paid for Nemo’s MRI. Thank you so much to anyone who has helped in anyway.
Nemo is a sweet boy who came to us as a stray, but we quickly became attached to him. Ever since showing up at our door, he has gradually shown signs of having a neurological condition. This is something new to us, but we have and are currently taking the necessary steps to have him treated and to give him a fair chance at life.
While we adore Nemo and have thus far taken care of his needs with our own money, we find ourselves taking quite a hit with him needing an MRI in order for us to know how to treat him going forward. We, and the vets that have seen Nemo, believe that he has a chance of being treated and recovering, as he currently is struggling to walk, stand, eat, use the bathroom, etc.
We ask if you could kindly donate anything you can, it would go directly to the $5,000+ vet bill we will receive for Nemo’s MRI. Thank you so much for considering helping to give Nemo a fighting chance.
