This is a picture of my sister. Her name is Manuela, but she goes by Nelly. She has cancer of the liver but prior to her getting cancer of the liver she has had cancer in different parts of her body. As you can see from the photo she had cancer in her thyroid. She had to have her thyroid removed which affected her ability to speak and her speech was affected. She has been fighting cancerous tumors for the past 14 years. She had part of her wrist bone removed on her left hand. And she has had more than her share of surgeries. She is my sister and she is 55 years old. She has 3 children and a husband and lives in Tijuana Mexico. We're setting up this go fund me page because the medication that's required for this type of cancer in her liver is very expensive. The medication is called Caprelsa and/or Valdetanib and it cost about $6000 a month for her medication. It is not covered by any of the insurance that she has in Mexico. Please help us get the medication that she needs so that she can continue fighting this terrible disease. Any donation from $1 to whatever you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
