Help Nelson Reunite with Family and fight for freedom.

Hello my name is Taleea Castillo, I am the fiancé of Nelson Gonzales, Mommy to Ezequiel (3 yrs old) and soon-to-be-mom of another baby boy due August 2025.

On Wednesday April 16th 2025 our lives changed in a matter of minutes, Nelson was detained while working for a better future.

by Friday April 18th Nelson was sent into ICE custody and moved to a detention center 4 and a half hours away from us.

Nelson is from Honduras he came to this country for asylum and to pursue a better life for himself and family. Back in Honduras a gang of people murdered his brother, sister and best friend on three separate occasions and threatened him and his family that he would be next.

Nelson has plans, dreams and was working to get his citizenship to be able to live, work and provide for his family without fear of what might happen it was one of his many life goals & just as he was working towards these goals all came crumbling down in an instant.

Nelson is the sole provider for our little big family. He took the role very seriously and he did it well. Excited and Determined to provide for Ezequiel, myself & welcome our new baby boy in August. Nelson did everything he could.

Of course these days it almost impossible to survive financially, but he always made sure his family and friends were taken care of no matter what.

We are trying to do the same for him! & fight! to be able to bring him back home to us before it's too late...

Time is of the essence and we are drowning in heartbreak, bills and fees to fight for him.

I've contemplated so much about reaching out and asking for help because I know that we are just one of many Families suffering from losing someone to the system, but we won't know until we try.

I fear that if we cannot find the funds and resources to fight.

Our family will be separated from him permanently and he will be sent back to a country that is dangerous and has nothing for him.
