Nelly is my 3-year-old Cane Corso, and she means the world to me. Recently, after she was in heat, she developed a severe infection in her uterus. It was heartbreaking to see her in so much pain—she was limping around the house and couldn’t even jump up on the bed like she used to. Last night, things got worse, and I had to rush her to emergency surgery to remove her uterus. The cost of her care is more than I can manage on my own, and I want to make sure she gets everything she needs to recover. On top of the surgery, her medication and aftercare are essential. She’ll need clean blankets and cleaning supplies to keep her comfortable and safe during her recovery. Nelly is a happy, loving dog who gets along with everyone she meets. She’s a big Cane Corso, but she shows everyone that all dogs can be gentle and kind. Right now, I’m asking for help from anyone who might be willing to donate to support Nelly’s recovery.
