Hello, my name is Linal Laughlin. I am One who walks around born for near the water. My maternal grandfather is water flows together and my paternal grandfather is hairy ones/weaver-zia. I am from Mexican Springs, New Mexico. I am 36 years old, a mother, older sister of 5 siblings, daughter and a common law wife . I was diagnosed with stage 4 hormone receptive metastatic breast cancer at the age of 34. My current treatment plan involves targeted and hormone therapy. Which puts me into a medically induced menopause. In the almost 2 years that I’ve been on this plan it has put me at a no evidence of active disease. Which is just a fancy way of saying that my cancer is at bay, stable, asleep. I will remain on my plan for as long as possible in the hopes that the cancer stays asleep to keep me alive for hopefully many years. Now, in a few weeks I will be undergoing a procedure that will contribute to my current treatment line.

Heres why my family and I have decided to create this fund. We will be needing to stay a few nights out of town to accommodate this procedure. Of course with travel and lodging comes other things like food and gas. If you’d like to send our son some fun money to help ease his mind that is always graciously accepted. It will help pay for medical expenses that aren’t covered by insurance. Usually things that help make recovery a smooth transition as possible. In addition to that, what we have left will help aide our monthly finances. My recovery time will be a couple of months. And since Matt will be out of work for my procedure it puts a major dent in how to pay our finances. We have been on a struggle bus lately with no work coming in. So again, no work to do = no hours = little to no pay check. We make payments to vehicles, insurances, phone, electric, gas, medical insurance, along with daily necessities.
I have even tried side hustling with yard sailing, tried to sell fresh eggs, and even telling friends and family that I can take pictures. But that itself has been challenging. And sometimes you have to swallow pride and just ask for help.

so we are leaning to our friends and family and humbly ask for your contribution.

We thank you for reading this far down. And if you have contributed, we as a family thank you! We love you each and everyone of you!
